Responsibilities Wood is expecting a contract award by August 2018 for a project based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
We would be looking to hire a number of Engineering professionals upon contract award. We will contact you if your CV was found suitable to discuss a project and position details.
- Reporting to the Lead Technical Safety Engineer the candidate will carry out assigned HSE design work as part of a multi-discipline project team
- To promote safe behaviour at all times
- To provide discipline specific design and drafting services that meet the Project’s, and applicable statutory and regulatory, requirements
Skills / Qualifications - Diploma or HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrument engineering (or relevant subject)
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Knowledge of site-based project work involving field engineering and construction
- Onshore Oil and Gas related HSE design experience
- A determination to continually improve safety in all aspects of plant design and operation
- Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred
- Previous experience of working in the Middle East would be an advantage
