Responsibilities We are currently recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to be worked on our ADNOC Offshore GSA project in Abu Dhabi for 6-12 months duration.
- Collects correlates and study the available information required for the project, from the existing drawings and documents.
- Develops design details with discipline engineers to reflect project requirements, develop schemes for engineering solutions to the problems, resolve problems and provide alternate options.
- Coordinate with discipline Engineers within CED and in other Business units, Project Engineers and personnel at Site on work related matters
- Review and comment on significant I critical project documents for alignment and conformity with Company Practices.
- Provides and support for the preparation of feasibility studies, design & engineering packages and participation in the development of SOR's, SOW's,O&M Philosophies etc.
- Shall visit offshore platforms and other sites which require walking, climbing ladders and stairways in and around equipment and exposure to prevailing hot/cold, humid, windy and noisy atmospheric conditions, for the project related data collections and co-ordination meeting.
- Adequacy check verification, sizing calculations and preparation of engineering deliverables.
- Performs project-related tasks such as assisting in preparation of the scope of works, preparing deliverables list, estimating man-hours, scheduling and reporting etc.
- Perform man-hour estimation, scheduling,reporting and manpower deployment for activities under each discipline group.
- Conducts quality checks on all project drawings and documents from contractors, including the final deliverables in compliance to Company standard practices.
Skills / Qualifications BSc in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized technical university not less than 15 yrs of experience in the oil and gas industry particularly offshore related facilities, of which at least five years must have been in a senior managerial position.
Self-motivated and able to motivate those under his control.
Excellent knowledge of international Codes and Standards and personnel safety.
Fluent in both written and spoken English.
