What does the role involve? Devise, coordinate and deliver detailed strategies to maximise the profitable potential of the assigned accounts, and manage the tactical implementation of the strategies on a geographical basis through the regional key account coverage model and utilisation of the relevant Hilti resources.
Develop a high level contact network within your account portfolio to enable you to successfully drive relevant service and product initiatives through visits, seminars and product demonstrations.
Utilise your Hilti network to proactively manage the customer relationship including resolving customer complaints and credit control issues.
Create and maintain detailed customer data to support KA Analyst with accurate information regarding the assigned accounts.
Negotiate trading agreements to secure required nsp increases and maximise profitability for the selected accounts.
Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions.
Effectively communicate to the sales teams, the key accounts team, and other relevant members of the wider Hilti team and actively encourage return communication on a regular basis.
Measure and report on share of wallet for Hilti's and competitor products and services to aid in the formation of new company marketing strategies.

What you need is: - A bachelor's degree, ideally in civil or mechanical engineering
- Direct sales experience (preferably Construction based)
- Proven ability to connect and build relationships at different levels within a customer's organisation
- Experience of identifying and driving initiatives with a customer's organisation
- Ability to make high level contacts and influence decision makers
- Ability to apply a strategic and commercial approach to analysing the customer business
- Ability to be forward thinking in order to protect, defend and win new Hilti business
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and impactful presenter
- Effective organisation skills to maximise productivity and utilisation of internal resources
