In charge of the follow up of the good pre-commisioning, commissioning and start up activities related to instrumentation and telecommunication works on the project.
In charge of the technical validation of the Project components site tests. Liaises with the construction/erection subcontractor for the execution of these static and dynamic tests at onshore and offshore.
Should ensure that all instruments and telecom items are in good and safe operation and ready for Handover on schedule.
Should plan and direct daily activities to Construction Contractor / Vendors.
Ensure that commissioning requirements are properly evaluated and requested as a part of the evaluation criteria and masking for all relevant procurement items.
Requirements: Minimum of 15 years of industry experience on Offshore projects of which minimum of 5 years must have been in a PMC environment.
Must have worked in Instrument Commissioning Engineer position for Engineering Contractor / Consultant / Owner organization engaged in major oil/gas EPC projects.
Fully familiar with international standards & guidelines as well as local specific requirements to be applied for major offshore oil/gas processing facilities during design, engineering and construction.
Should have a strong field experience and technical skills in pre commissioning and commissioning of all types of instruments and telecommunication equipment (mainly Yokogawa systems like DCS, ESD, F&G, HSSS, CCTV, PAGA, Radio, Telephones, Inergen / Novec systems).
Should have a technical and practical knowledge of Project Completion Systems (preferably ICAPS). He is familiar with completion philosophy and handover files
Extensive experience in managing loop test, consisting of a multicultural team in a stressful environment and to be a strong problem solver.
Qualifications: B.S. or equivalent Degree in Engineering with minimum fifteen (15) years relevant experience in oil & gas industry.
Should possess coordination / communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
