Responsible for commissioning of Electrical Systems related to project development project through construction, onshore and offshore commissioning phases.
Be a contributor to reach the development project's main objectives within schedule, cost, quality and HSE.
Ensure continuously update of commissioning procedure and PIMS CMS as commissioning activities are carried out.
Providing commissioning progress reports and identifying and variance to agreed plans.
Identify mitigation strategies to ensure adherence to project timescales
Review and comment on; technical drawings, electrical schemes, quality plans and contractors commissioning programs in readiness for contractors commissioning activities.
Perform Handover to platform Operation organization.
Providing operations start-up support and assistance.
Requirements: Minimum of 20 years of industry experience on Offshore projects of which minimum of 5 years must have been in a PMC environment.
Must have worked in Electrical Commissioning Engineer position for Engineering Contractor / Consultant / Owner organization engaged in major oil/gas EPC projects.
Fully familiar with international standards & guidelines as well as local specific requirements to be applied for major offshore oil/gas processing facilities during design, engineering and construction.
Should have a strong field experience and technical skills in all types of Electrical items (Subsea cables, Motors, Cathodic protection, AC/DC UPS, HV, LV, Navaids, Bird Diterrent, Electrical Control Monitoring System, Diesel Power Generators).
Should have practical experienced in onshore and offshore 11 kV.
Should have a technical and practical knowledge of Project Completion Systems (preferably ICAPS). He is familiar with completion philosophy and handover files.
Should have high energy and dynamism, excellent leadership and people, communications, networking skills and above all should be able to manage ambiguities.
Qualifications: B.S. or equivalent Degree in Engineering with minimum fifteen (15) years relevant experience in oil & gas industry.
Should possess coordination / communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
