HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT
JOB SCOPE:Under the general direction of the Public Space Supervisor and Assistant Housekeeping manager or designate, and within the limits of established PULLMAN hotel’s policies and procedures, responsible for cleaning and maintain assigned all public are maintained at all times.
OVERVIEW OF DUTIES ·Behaves and acts in an exemplary fashion, embodying the brand mindset.
·Is in charge of tidying and cleaning Guest Rest Rooms, Corridors, Lobby, Restaurant, Pool Bar, Offices and Staff Rest Rooms and common areas every day, in line with applicable norms and standards and the rules of safety and hygiene.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
- Strive for constant improvement and take responsibility for your own performance
- Adhere to Hotel Handbook and general policies and procedures
- Adhere to Housekeeping Policies and Procedures
- Report problems to Management with suggestions for resolution
- Ensure that your work quality meets the standards required and complete tasks in a timely and thorough manner with minimum supervision
- Meet hotel attendance and grooming standards
- Clarifies own job responsibilities and looks for opportunities that will increase skills and job knowledge
- Understands how their role fits with others and contributes to the success of business
- Understands the hotel’s facilities, products and services
- Provides information when requested and promotes hotel’s services, facilities and special events
- Follow standards, policies and procedures
- Implements department procedures and policies as needed
CUSTOMER RELATION
- Remains polite and courteous at all times whatever customers may request
- Respects guests' privacy while working (for example, by respecting the "Do not disturb" sign)
- Takes guests' behavior patterns into consideration
- If necessary, explains to guests how to use certain equipment.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with all internal customers and guests in order to anticipate their needs.
- Anticipate guest needs, handle guest inquires, and solve problems
EDUCATION / PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
·Vocational certificate in Accommodation or diploma in Hospitality and/or anyone eager to work in the sector regardless of their educational background, pending validation of their skills (can be trained directly by the Housekeeper as required)
·At least 1 year's experience in the position
·Languages: good spoken English.
