Junior Accountant - Fixed Assets

We are seeking a highly-motivated individual, with a strong attention to detail, excellent Excel skills, and ability to work well with cross-functional organizations. This position will report to the Accounting Manager xed Assets.
Responsibilities - Prepares and posts journal entries
- Prepares account reconciliations
- Variance analysis for assigned accounts on the financial statements
- Executes SOX controls and prepares PBC schedules
- Works with various data owners and departments which includes Tax, OPS and Finance
- Prepares month end schedule as required for management and SEC reporting
- Special projects as required
Qualifications - Minimum of 1+ years of experience in Accounting
- BA in Accounting
- Proficiency in Excel beyond basic use (i.e. pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) required
- Experienced with Oracle R12 or other ERP systems required
- Strong organization and planning skills, and strong PC skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Team player with a positive attitude
