Job Title Accountant Sr
Job Description Contract Closeout Specialists are required to independently closeout cost type contracts and task orders using their knowledge of Government closeout regulations, contract terms, and company policies and procedures. Contracts and task orders vary in complexity and require attention to details. Contract Closeout Specialists perform multiple reconciliation, which may include, but are not limited to, billed to AR reconciliation, unbilled analysis, funding analysis, etc. Prepare cost models for final vouchers or use the accounting system to prepare final vouchers, and prepare and maintain all supporting documentation for audit of final vouchers.

Required Skills and Education Bachelor Degree and 2 years experience. Or eight years of related experience with HS degree.
- Prior Government contracting experience
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations related to contract closeout
- Knowledge of contract closeout process Knowledge of direct vs. indirect costs
- Understanding of indirect rate application
- Prior billing knowledge Excellent MS Excel skills Analytical skills
- Assist manager with prepare Cumulative Allowable Cost Worksheet (CACWS)
- Assist manager with tracking down subcontract closeouts
- Assist manager with follow up with audit findings
- Assist Audit with tracking closeout activities of all legacy entities
- Follow up with AR and government customer regarding final payments.
