This position represents an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on professional with proven financial operations and general accounting experience to facilitate key functions including the monthly close. NetSuite experience preferred. A CPA designation or requisite training is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities Responsible for supporting a timely and accurate month-end close, including but not limited to general ledger journal entries, accruals, payroll accounts
Prepare and ensure that all adjusting journal entries have adequate supporting documentation
Prepare work-papers and respond to inquiries from colleagues and external auditors
Review vendor and publisher reconciliations
Support completion of monthly, quarterly and year-end close including B/S and P&L variance analysis
Assist with developing policies and procedures for accounting processes, data workflow and system administration/optimization.
Assist with compliance and documentation, including flowcharts and process narratives to ensure adequate internal controls are in place
Prepare supporting schedules to assist management in monthly/quarterly reporting
Leverage NetSuite to continuously improve accounting efficacy and enhance business visibility
Prepare commission sales earnings statements on a quarterly basis
Process semi-monthly payroll and remedy issues
Ability to supervise and perform staff accounting duties
Ability to perform responsibilities of the other senior accountant on as needed basis.
Perform other special projects as required
Qualifications 3 + years of General Accounting experience a plus with an emphasis on demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility and analytical skills
Strong understanding of GAAP
Advertising, Ad Tech, SaaS industry experience preferred
Experience working in public and private accounting is preferred
Experienced in monthly close and G/L reporting preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to develop and maintain business relationship at all levels of the organization and with external vendors/clients
Proficiency with accounting systems, data management and Excel (including pivot tables and other advanced Excel functions)
Experience processing payroll with ADP or other large platform
Knowledge of NetSuite accounting software and Concur Expense software a plus
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing, fast paced environment
Detail oriented with strong organization skills
Desire and ability to work as a service-oriented team player with a sense of urgency and aspiration for accuracy
Bacheloregree in Business/Accounting/Finance required
