About the Job: An opportunity has arisen for Food & Beverage Attendant role in at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:
Minimize spoilage through competent running of F&B items to waiter/section.
Work with your colleagues to ensure the day to day operation is smooth.
Maintain a clean, safe and healthy working environment.
Serve and communicate to the guest in a clear and professional manner.
Complete opening and closing procedure as directed.
Replenish the buffet whenever needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the buffet.
Prepares the place of the station preparing for the operation of the restaurant.
Clearly communicate any issues impacting their section / food quality.
Carry out any reasonable instruction / duties as directed .
Attend training sessions whether internal or external as and when required .
Report any defects in equipment immediately to the chef in charge.
To challenge and stop any plate or dish that is not presented to brand standard.
To ensure customer orders are delivered on time as directed.
Communicates to managers any issues immediately.
Effectively communicate with PIC in kitchen and FOH colleagues.
Knows the correct presentation of all menu items.
Ensures the pass section / area is fully prepared ready for the shift as per restaurant requirements.
Manage the expedition of food from the pass, ensuring a seamless experience for the guest (i.e. apps with apps and mains with mains).
Qualifications About You: The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experiences and qualifications:
Have excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Minimum of 6 months in the Hospitality Industry.
Is able to complete basic reporting as and when required.
Can handle a minor complaint with confidence.
Have excellent written and verbal skills and able to hold a conversation with confidence over the telephone.
Able to effectively communicate with all levels of colleagues.
Second language would be an advantage.
