Job Description:

• Maintain the collection of apartments in a perfect condition while reviewing the properties on a daily basis and scheduling major maintenance repairs, refurbishment, deep cleanings;
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies;
• Create reports and submit them to the director or other executives;
• Assisting in developing and implementing SOPs, plans and goals for the operations department;
• Fulfil duties as assigned by the director of operations.
• Quality & control:

• Have an eye for detail and conduct random inspection work for conformance to prescribed standards;
• During inspections ensure that high quality standards of housekeeping are maintained in: (a) the guest rooms; (b)linens and uniforms;
• Review the guest feedback forms, take actions on guest complaints and raise awareness to concerned department;
• Attends periodic staff meetings with other department heads to discuss company policies and patrons’ complaints, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation;
• Deep cleaning monitoring & planning:
• Schedules the cleaning of the room carpets, upholstery, and draperies as needed, along with deep cleaning projects as necessary;
• Schedules periodic major cleaning projects including carpet shampooing, cleaning of walls and baseboards, cleaning of windows, elevator doors and tracks long term maintenance planning:
• Spot long term maintenance issues, record and follow-up on resolution by making sure corrective action has been implemented.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in hotels, business and hospitality management - an advantage
• Similar experience in five stars hotel Housekeeping required
• UAE driving license required
