Digital marketing firm in the DTC area is looking for a Sr. Accountant on a direct hire basis. Company has a fantastic culture that leans towards a more laid back environment! This person will lead the fixed assets process for the organization, and will also focus on other areas of GL accounting.
Job Duties: - Facilitate the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and completing all assigned month-end functions.
- Responsible for fixed asset accounting, recording asset purchases, transfers, disposals and depreciation expense.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain proper documentation related to balance sheet accounts such as cash, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany and other liability accounts
- Responsible for analyzing and recording daily cash transactions and performing back reconciliations.
- Analyze current procedures and recommend change to minimize risk or streamline processes.
Qualifications: - BA or BS in Accounting or Finance
- Understanding of US GAAP
- Exposure to ERP system, Oracle preferred
- Organized and highly detailed
