Impact
The Staff Accountant role is a full-time position reporting directly to the Controller. The position will provide an opportunity to join a successful, rapidly-growing software company that recently partnered with one the worldeading private equity firms ancisco Partners. This position will offer variety and the opportunity to develop skills in many different areas.
Responsibilities Participate in the day-to-day operations of the finance department including but not limited to:
- Preparing customer invoices and handling new customer set-up
- Applying A/R receipts and managing the A/R collection process
- Processing employee expense reports and initiating reimbursements
- Assisting with the month-end close process, including reconciling general ledger accounts
- Assisting with tax & audit compliance by compiling and preparing information as requested
- Completing and submitting various documents (vendor registrations, tax registrations)
- Complying with all internal controls and support process improvements
Requirements - Bacheloregree in accounting or related discipline required
- 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred; exceptional candidates with no prior experience will be considered as well
- Ability to learn quickly and solve problems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Positive attitude and a desire to contribute
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
