Job Description and Requirements Job Role Summary
To deliver a quality and fun tennis coaching programme to both adults and children of all abilities according to Archibald Tennis Academy’s standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities and Task
- Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain an excellent standard of customer service
- Provide a tennis programme which caters for all adult and children players, incorporating group coaching, free play, social tennis, and private lessons
- Assist in the preparation, organisation and delivery of a weekly/monthly tennis tournaments
- Promote the tennis programme and actively aim to increase participation
- Ensure Health and Safety is to the highest standard both on and off the courts
- Take personal responsibility for the maintenance, repair and security of Academy equipment and the satisfactory appearance of Academy sites to ensure the meeting of player expectations
- Work as part of a team to set up, pack up, and proactively provide assistance to all players using the tennis equipment each day
- Help organize and host social events, deliver briefings and generally interact with players at all times
- Be prepared to move between different locations according to operational needs of the business to fulfil your contractual end date
- Be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties, within reason, as requested by your manager according to training you have been given
- Prepare a monthly report which includes: disciplinary issues, team progress and sports events participation and achievements
Qualifications and Experience required - LTA , PTR, ITF, USPTA qualification or equivalent
- First Aid Certificate
- Educated to GCSE standard
- Experience of coaching both adults and children of varying ability
- Experience of organising Tennis Tournaments
- Previous customer service experience
- Prepare a monthly report which includes: disciplinary issues, team progress and sports events participation and achievements
- Perform any related duties assigned by the Tennis Director
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required - Ability to deliver fun, engaging, safe and informative Tennis sessions
- Knowledge of Mini Tennis
- Knowledge of current Tennis developments
- Ability to effectively communicate with players of all ages, management, and other staff
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain effective working relationships
- Able to work on own initiative and follow verbal and written instructions

Note
For Temporary Part Time positions, the candidates must already be in possession of a residence visa for the UAE. Candidates who are employed in the UAE must provide the university with a Letter of No Objection from their current employer, and have the appropriate governmental approvals. Employment Visas are not provided to temporary staff.
