The Marketing Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating and executing all aspects of internal and external communications for the entity including designing and executing Brand Management, Marketing & Sales and Communication plans, and implementing marketing campaigns including monitoring their performance. The Marketing Executive is also responsible for developing and maintaining communication guidelines/ protocols for use by all employees as well as managing events and reviewing and evaluating sponsorship requests (including monitoring sponsorship alliances).
Implementation of Marketing Campaigns
- Lead in the development of Tactical Plans aimed at marketing, sales and promotional campaigns
- Oversee and monitor all advertisement materials developed to ensure compliance with Branding guidelines
- Initiate media buying to ensure provision of agreed coverage (including number, frequency and duration of ads)
- Create and maintain record files for all campaigns undertaken
- Conduct evaluations on the launch of campaigns including modifications as required
External Communication
- Publish and maintain guidelines for all external communications of the entity
- Maintain and monitor the entity’s active presence on the official website and other social media
- Be the central point of contact for all interview requests/ enquiries from the media
- Prepare and obtain approval on any press releases and arrange for these to be published appropriately
- Provide responses to any pre and/ or post-interview clarification
- Recommend to the Group Senior Management (as required) including selecting media invitees
- Review and obtain relevant approval (as per the DoA) of all content before it is published
- Establish and maintain adequate monitoring channels to avoid website defacement, website threats and other electronic threats including social media abuse
Internal Communications
- Design and develop the layout and content of all internal communication
Event Management
- Design and develop event plans for all events hosted by the Group including the event budget and monitor closely the actual to budget spending
- Provide regular reporting to the Group Senior Management and other relevant stakeholders (as applicable) about the progress of the planning/ implementation of the event
- Undertake a post event analysis of all conducted events and share with relevant stakeholders
- Review and evaluate all sponsorship requests and ensure that all events, activities and programmes are being sponsored in line with the approved Marketing and Communications Plan and within the approved budget
- Maintain a repository of all evaluated proposals (approved and rejected) including all evaluations conducted
- Closely monitor any Sponsorship alliance during the Sponsorship period and manage reporting to relevant stakeholders the performance at the end of the Sponsorship period
Minimum Qualifications - Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Management
- Postgraduate degree is preferred
Minimum Experience - Minimum of 6 years of work experience in online marketing, website management and/ or social media management
- Minimum of 2 years working experience within the Middle East region
- Online marketing, websites and social media management experience.
- Hospitality experience is preferable
