We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join the Maxim Integrated team. This person will be a member of Maxim's tax team located in Dallas, Texas. We are seeking a teammate that is analytical, detail orientated and works well in a team environment but is also capable of working independently when required. Strong communication skills are required as there is a high level of inter-department and employee interaction. Qualified individuals will be comfortable in a fast-paced, employee centric environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities. The successful candidate will be able to increase their knowledge and experience through internal and external training opportunities.

Key/Shared Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation of Federal and State corporate income tax returns

Calculation of Federal and State estimated tax payments

Investigate and respond to notices from various taxing authorities

Tax account reconciliation and analysis

Assist with the preparation of quarterly and year-end tax provisions

Assist with the administration of Federal and state tax audits

Prepare unclaimed property reports

Research tax issues and document conclusions

Assist with other projects, as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation

3 + years of corporate income tax experience in public accounting or industry

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Preferred Skills:

Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a commitment to accuracy and details

Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization

Certified Public Accountant

SAP experience

Well developed workpaper preparation and documentation skills

Function in a dynamic changing environment

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

Able to work independently, handle multiple priorities and apply good judgment
