We are currently seeking a Senior Audit Accountant to join our Healthcare team in Columbus, Ohio. We have a wide range of healthcare clients that include hospitals and health systems, surgery centers, behavioral health providers and more. As a Senior Accountant, you will begin to develop your supervisory and management skills and experience as you receive ongoing training and mentoring that is a key to success in public accounting. You will begin to specialize in our Healthcare practice that is growing rapidly and is the largest industry segment within the firm.

Position Details: - Managing and performing various accounting and auditing tasks, including preparing financial statements, performing risk assessments and leading benefit plan audits.
- Ensure accurate and reliable data and client satisfaction through high quality service deliverables.
- Creating and managing effective interpersonal relationships, including assisting in the supervision, utilization, and training of staff accountants and interns.
- Plan, schedule and lead all aspects of financial statement and benefit plan audits.
- Monitor and review work paper preparation.
- Build and expand relationships with clients and community contacts in an effort to contribute to the overall marketing efforts of the firm.
Position Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of two years' experience in auditing at a public accounting firm.
- CPA or actively pursuing certification.
- Benefit plan audit and healthcare industry experience preferred.
- Proficient in conducting research and adopting new audit and accounting standards.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; a high level of technical competence.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products and applications.
- Ability to travel up to 20%, including overnight travel, to client locations
