We are currently seeking an Accountant to assist in daily and monthly processes in our East Canton, Ohio branch.
A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
This person will be responsible for processing of various monthly account reconciliations, general journal entries, and assisting with month end close duties as assigned. Other duties include:
Preparation of financial reports as requested/needed
Assist in daily and monthly accounting of both the Dominican Republic and Chile branches
Ensures timely processing of all duties and maintains accurate records and control reports
Performs a variety of tasks and provides accounting assistance as needed
Process and review company credit card transaction reconciliations
Compiles financial data to aid in the preparation of financial reports
Relies on knowledge training and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Translate documentation from Spanish to English using tools such as Google translate
What You Will Need: Basic Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good analytical and critical thinking skills
Must be reliable and confidential
Possess excellent organizations skills and accuracy
Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to use 10-key proficiently
Solid understanding of accounting, audit and basic tax issues
3+ years schooling towards Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (Receipt of degree should be within next 6 months)
