The Media Supervisor is responsible working with the wider team on annual media strategies, and for the implementation of integrated media planning across clients. This role needs to play a pivotal part in the development of objectives, strategies and plans, and developing the skills and knowledge base of the team. The media supervisor is responsible for mentoring and managing the performance of executives and planners for day-to-day responsibilities.
Product and Pitching:
- Understands clients overall business and marketing objectives displaying a sound knowledge of all media, TV, digital (performance, display, social, content etc), Print, Radio, Outdoor, working efficiently as part of an overall integrated team
- Responsible for Integrated planning implementation.
- Functions as a key contact between Client Service and the Clients for all requests for media
- Understands marketing objectives and strategies for all the team's Clients and ensures media objectives and strategies are on target & lead teams on strategic plans.
- Maintain primary control over media planning budgets
- Provide direction regarding competitive reporting and media planning and carries overall responsibility for preparation, format, interpretation and presentation to Client
- Maintains strong relationship with media suppliers and partners
- Responsible with the Finance department of the collectivity of his or her clients' dues.
- Conduct regular presentations to clients keeping them informed of all relevant media trends and development in line with client objectives, campaigns and industry trends
- Contributes to innovation and idea generation on a department and overall agency level
Skills - Minimum 3 years of Media Planning (integrated media experience)
