Job Description SUMMARY: This position is responsible for the preparation of annual, monthly and weekly plant production financial statements, budgets, and reports. This includes gathering and processing information to generate accurate performance reports, accurate inventory balances, providing costing and reporting of weekly production, and preparing weekly cost. Other duties include staffing and supervising accounting and clerical team members, supervising payroll for all location team members, ensuring adherence to generally accepted accounting principles, and adherence to Tyson accounting policies, which may involve in-house auditing of books and inventories. Other duties include developing annual operation budgets, andcompleting other special projects as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required. Experience: 1+ years of experience Computer Skills: Requires standard computer skills including SAP, Excel, generating spreadsheets and word processing skills, writing macros, and preparing complex graphic presentations. This position requires broad SAP knowledge including purchasing, materials management and product costing. Communication Skills: Requires good verbal and written skills, in order to communicate with all levels of management and management support. Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in a single department or work unit who perform similar and/or interrelated tasks and activities. Travel: Less than 10%
