Reporting to the Marketing Director, the CRM Manager is responsible for all aspects of customer relationship marketing, including email, analysis and loyalty initiatives. You will have combined objectives to support both the online sales on the PANDORA ZA eStore, but also to drive footfall and revenue in concept stores.
You will be an essential support to the PANDORA EM Marketing team, helping to ensure the global digital marketing strategy is implemented at a local level, in line with brand guidelines.
This role is new to the business and so a highly organised and self-motivated individual is essential.

Responsibilities: General
- Responsible for all aspects of CRM strategy across email for Emerging Markets, with direct implementation within the UAE and ZA.
- Builds and maintains successful relationships across all other marketing departments, in addition to coordinating with the EMEA region and global CRM and IT teams on CRM strategy and priorities
- Acts as the first point-of-call on all operational topics
Email Marketing
- Responsible for the email marketing calendar, aligning with other departments including brand, retail, VM and obtaining sign-off from the Head of Retail Marketing. Focus on tactical online and instore CRM activity, campaign planning and KPI reporting.
- Leads the design, copy-writing, creative briefing and approval of all email communications with the Graphics team, gaining final approval from Head of Retail Marketing and VP of Marketing on all creative and copy
- Optimising campaign templates, content and segmentation, plus managing A/B split tests
- Uploads images, build and test emails in Adobe Campaign Manager (CRM tool) managing the end-to-end process, including email broadcast and data workflow
- Responsible for developing a robust email testing strategy, to include tests across all aspects, including creative, copy, segmentation, product and messaging
- Leads CRM strategy for activation launches
- Follow up on CRM campaigns and activities, compiling learnings and providing continuity between campaigns with follower markets
- End-to-end responsibility of marketing activities and campaigns within loyalty, acquisition, data and analytics, and campaign automation
- Work effectively with digital and social to build data base to support commercial opportunities
Concept Store CRM support
- Works alongside Retail Marketing team to support with store-level email marketing, including localised event invites
- Responds quickly to local needs to drive footfall after weekly trade meeting – constantly considers how to use the email channel to drive commercial objectives
Loyalty Initiatives
- Responsible for any loyalty driving initiatives including customer competitions, partnerships and giveaways.
- Works closely with PANDORA global CRM to devise a relevant and commercially focused loyalty programme
Transaction and Programme emails (ZA eStore)
- Day-to-day management of transactional and flow emails to ensure all copy and creative is up to date with latest drops
- Responsible for the email programme strategy, from data analysis through to creative concepts and reporting and optimisation, working closely with global CRM and IT
Customer Analysis
- Manages customer insight projects to steer CRM strategy and support the wider marketing team
- Works closely with the wider team to represent CRM at the PANDORA Customer Council
Reporting
- Responsible for weekly reporting and measurement of each email, including both Adobe Campaign and Adobe Analytics data
- Uses insight to devise an optimisation and testing strategy for email channel
Qualifications: University Degree Non Professional
Language Skills: English: Fluent (Verbal & Written)
Computer Skills:
MS Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
Work Experience Requirements:
- Min. 4 years PR experience in a CRM / email / digital marketing role.
Technical Competence Requirements:
- Media agency experience beneficial
- Applicants with experience using Adobe Campaign Manager and Google Marketing Platform preferred
- Relevant product and industry knowledge
- Experience writing copy for digital channels, with an excellent grasp of English language and grammar
