Our client is a multispecialty private hospital with branches throughout the UAE.
Duties & Responsibilities: Our client is hiring an Actuary with specific healthcare industry experience.
This financial risk expert is responsible for forecasting, assessing, advising and planning for future risks, seen and unforeseen, using knowledge of commercial, market and economic principles.
- quantify the financial impact of risk;
- price products and services based on statistical analysis;
- help establish adequate reserves so companies remain solvent.
Skills Skills & Competencies: - Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to clearly explain complex statistics and technical details
- Advanced computer skills, including understanding of databases, spreadsheets and statistical analysis software
- Strong attention to detail
Education & Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related discipline
- 5+ years' experience in similar role, specific experience in healthcare industry
