One of our Dubai based fintech clients, a fast growing organization developing digital payment solutions, is looking for Mobile Application Developer to join their team. Duties and Responsibilities: Design and build interfaces and advanced applications for the Android and/or iOS platform to improve user experience Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code using Agile methodology Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, deploy new features and optimize deployments Migrate and adapt existing web applications to the leading mobile platforms Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency Education and Qualification: BA or BS (MSc preferred) degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field; equivalent experience considered 5-7 years' software development experience with a minimum 2 years' proven work experience as a Mobile Apps iOS/Android developer Demonstrable portfolio of released iOS apps in the App store and/or Android apps in the Android market 2+ years' experience in software coding and development for mobile commerce solution, e money payments and other alternative payments methods
Skills Knowledge and Experience: Fluent in object-oriented programming languages such as Java and/or Objective-C Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies, (ReactNative is a plus) Experience with developing applications that run on multiple mobile devices with different form factors Data structures, algorithms, and software design optimized for mobile platform Coding practices, including: design documentation, unit testing, source control (GIT, SVN), and peer code-reviews Strong knowledge of unit testing, behavioral testing and continuous integration Strong application performance/tuning skills Understanding of importance of maintainable/sustainable product solutions Experience with developing mobile applications that interface with RESTful services Experience with third-party libraries and APIs Strong understanding of caching as it relates to mobile devices and application performance Understanding of mobile application accessibility Experience working within agile software development teams which function in a DevOps environment, including experience in dev, build, QA, release, and support of your own software Experience with relational and non-relational data stores (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, CouchBase, Cassandra, etc.) is a plus Strong written communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of clients and staff Ability to perform well and excel in a team environment
