Job Summary As a NetApp Partner Services Development Manager MEA, you are responsible for managing the post-sales services program relationship for complex critical business alliances and partnerships, with a focus on Middle East and Africa, you will be developing the services coverage capabilities in this area. You will leverage the NetApp services portfolio of programs to drive customer success, partner self-sufficiency, services capability and sales growth by leading cross-functional teams focused on developing a highly capable partner ecosystem. In this role you will be expected to have a strong understanding of our partners’ business models, a very good understanding of NetApp technology and solution sets, as well as the company’s partner strategy from both a sales and services perspective. This position resides within the Channel Services organization and is closely aligned with NetApp Channel Sales and NetApp Services organizations. Excellent communication, partner relationship building, and business development skills are required to assure success of this high-visibility function.
Essential Functions: - Align with channel sales and NetApp professional services to identify partner service delivery gaps, developing focused partner development plans to address these gaps.
- Ensure the retention, services growth and customer satisfaction of strategic partner accounts.
- Drive a good understanding and knowledge of NetApp services programs (professional services & support services) within key channel partner accounts and actively work with them on solutions development & deployment, customer experience, partner profitability and ensuring that subsequent product pull-through is a key success factor.
- Maintain a highly interactive relationship with key partner services accounts to achieve on-going services development and outstanding customer experience initiatives.
- Manage the partner services program compliance for your area through regular business reviews and reporting.
- Develop a profile for each services certified partner indicating their capabilities and highlighting deficiencies for inclusion in their services development plans.
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments on enhancements to the NetApp services programs, service renewals, and upgrades to existing agreements.
- Ensure awareness of market trends and competition to identify new services opportunities.
- Evaluate team and departmental goal achievement, and provide recommendations.
- Participate in cross-functional peer group teams including members from the Services & Support field based teams and channel partner organizations (e.g. Channel Marketing, Channel Sales Managers, Channel Development Managers, Partner Marketing Managers, etc.) to meet departmental services development goals.
Job Requirements - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both the local language and English in order to successfully interface with internal and external individuals.
- The ability to communicate with partners’ senior management teams and influence the services relationship with NetApp.
- Understanding of Channel Partner, Reseller, Strategic Alliance, and Third Party Maintenance providers within assigned area.
- An IT Technology/Service background is essential and experience in the Storage technology is desirable.
- Understanding of outsourcing, third party maintenance providers, resellers, channels, and channel marketing disciplines.
- Understanding of channel sales mechanics, processes and procedures.
- Ability to understand and gain expertise in server, storage, and networking industry terminology and technology.
- Ability to produce results and meet goals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to travel within the area of responsibility to conduct business reviews and/or service program related meetings with strategic partners, approximately 4-8 times a month but may vary due to business needs, seasonality and/or geographic coverage.

- To be successful, this individual must demonstrate favorable results through regular leadership and influencing others.
Education - A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, 8 to 10 years of experience is preferred.
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field; or equivalent experience is required.
- Demonstrated ability to have completed multiple, complex technical projects.
