Role Summary: Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for a Completions & Wellbore Intervention training manager to join our Training team at the Eastern Hemisphere Education Center. Qualified candidates encouraged to apply.
Essential Responsibilities: - Delivers foundational and advanced Completions & Wellbore Intervention training. Focus in Wellbore Construction & Upper Completions.
- Source and prepare resources or equipment required for the delivery of training courses and ensures their fitness for purpose.
- Monitors effectiveness of training programs and measures knowledge transfer.
- Manages assigned training courses and performs life cycle maintenance of the Completions & Wellbore Intervention technical training content.
- Participates as subject matter expert (SME) for the design and development of Instructor Led or Web Based Training courses and career development programs
- Provides SME support for the digital transformation of the Completions & Wellbore Intervention training programs
- Assists the training lead in planning and organizing course schedules in accordance with available resources and operational needs.
- Conducts all business activities in accordance with BHGE HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and BHGE Core Values.
- Handles special projects, as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements: - Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Applied Science required.
- 5 + years of experience and in-depth knowledge of BHGE Wellbore Construction & Upper Completions products and services
- Applications Engineering experience in Wellbore Construction & Upper Completions
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills
- Strong analytical and decision making skills
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
- Track record of working with WBC, UC & R&S problems and challenges
- Must be results-oriented and customer -focused with a drive for results.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and engage talent.
- Well organized, self-starter with the ability to perform responsibilities with minimal direction and supervision
