Provides cyber security subject matter expertise, technical, and project management support to Federal Business Unit and One Parsons (principally Middle East Africa Business Unit) clients in the UAE and the region as required. In addition, sales and capture support will be provided in collaboration with the Business Development Manager to grow existing accounts and capture adjacent or new business.
The responsibilities of this 'doer-seller' role require the credentials to be positioned as a client facing Subject Matter Expert (SME), the ability and willingness to self-perform a range of technical cyber security tasks and manage work orders, as well as an understanding of and some experience of growth focused client management, business negotiations, and capture. Specific responsibilities include:
· Keep up to date with latest threats, trends, and state-of-the-art tools and techniques utilized to protect both Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) environments.
· Evaluate an organization's cyber security posture in the context of industry standards such as NIST 800 Series, ISO/ISA 27000, COBIT, and others.
· Recommend appropriate and cost-effective solutions to mitigate cyber security findings and issues within client environments while incorporating regulatory and policy requirements as well as industry best practices.
· Review current and/or proposed products and services on behalf of clients for risk, vulnerabilities, and suitability in supporting the client's cyber security needs.
· Develops proposal content for cyber security services in response to invitations to bid, and provides guidance to proposal team from inception to completion on cyber security related content to include technical scope, schedule, and cost.
· Supports contract negotiations, including non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and joint venture agreements as they relate to cyber security.
· Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Skills 4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, or equivalent and least 10-15 years of diversified experience, primarily within the Cybersecurity realm, is required.
Experience working in the United Arab Emirates or elsewhere in the Gulf region an advantage though not required.
Experience working on US or UK Government defense and security related cyber security programs, and/or Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP, associated with national/local security, transportation systems, power and utilities networks, etc.) programs in the Government or commercial sector. Experience in both Government defense/security and CIP a distinct advantage.
