Sr Analyst
Qualification: Science / Engineering/Business graduate
Responsibility: Thought Leadership / New Solution Development / Delivery Excellence:
- Identify avenues to improve project delivery parameters (eg productivity, efficiency, process, security etc) by leveraging reusable functional assets.
- Contribute artifacts/collate lessons learnt on projects to Knowledge Management.
- Provide domain expertise infusion in ongoing projects to proactively propose solutions to clients.
Project Delivery:
Requirement Articulation:
- Understand and capture functional requirements with the sr analysts and ensure they are addressed within the design.
- Prepare the functional requirements documents/UCs and common frameworks.
- Seek guidance from Sr Analyst as and when required.
- Present the detailed requirements documents to the customer functional SME.
- Participate in project specific Proof of Concepts activities to validate feasibility in conjunction with technology teams.
- Assist in maintaining traceability & gap analysis trackers.
- Provide inputs on domain to the development / implementation team.
- Analyze BRD/FRD and enhance the same where needed and feasible.
Requirements Review:
- Support reviews of all outputs across all SDLC phases from design to testing to ensure functional requirements are met.
- Conduct functionality sessions / workshops for the project team on FRD/BRD & UCs as applicable.
- Provide guidance on new domain requirements and aspects.
- Define functional checklists for design and coding.
- Provide guidance to project team members in troubleshooting functionality related issues.
- Conduct cross project functional audits and reviews, as required.
- Understand various domain related frameworks used in the project (third party as well as homegrown) to improve efficiency , productivity.
- Develop Functional scenarios & perform validation/testing.
- Perform Functional Validation/testing of the system.
Capability Building:
- Conduct trainings/ Webinars to impart knowledge to relevant application development/project teams on domain related aspects, and post in Blogs / interviews to share expertise (at an org level).
- Gain industry standard certifications on functional domain.
Business Development & Customer Relationship Management:
- Contribute to proposal development from functional perspective.
