FLYR Inc. seeks a highly organized, tech-savvy Dubai-based Head of Program Management to help realize our mission of delivering dynamic pricing, revenue and offer management to airlines in the Middle East.
The Head of Program Management for the Middle East is responsible for providing the lead on facilitating major FusionRM implementations for a number of airlines in the region, driving the development and delivery of client programs from pre-sales engagement to post-launch improvements, monitoring and customization. She / He will work heavily with all stakeholders on aligning project outcomes with overall business goals and key requirements, and will frequently interface with all functions within FLYR. Expected to be a member of the core leadership team, the Dubai Head of Program Management directly influences the overall organization by establishing project delivery and governance frameworks in which FLYR can best execute its business strategy.

While not in a direct software development role, the ideal candidate should be comfortable in an environment involving frequent technical discussions and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities - Create and implement best practice program management strategy, processes, and procedures to aid and improve on time and on budget delivery of large software solutions to airlines
- Drive accountability for software delivery and ensuring commitments are met
Co-manage our Middle East customer-dedicated Program Managers
- Monitor the completion of tasks and record on internal and customer-facing systems
- Communicate with senior management on program status, risks and issues. Ensure regular and timely communication between customer project team members. Interacts with Software Engineering, Data Science, Product Management, and other areas of FLYR's business
- Manage internal and external meetings and calls to handle all issues related to delivery times, budget, quality, and feature scope. Help establish and maintain the interface between the customers and engineering teams
- Produce and present reports on the above to management, organization, and clients
Skills Qualifications - Strong leadership and people management skills, and capacity to interact directly with customers including senior technical and program management leadership
- Excellent organizational skills
- Five or more years of experience in a program management role, including at least three years of a senior/leadership role (director or executive-level) within a software-centric organization. Has managed large IT programs with multiple teams and deliverables.
- Ability to operate under pressure and tight deadlines
- Positive and pragmatic approach to achieving results
- Previous experience of managing a department/team
- Experience of planning, budgeting and executing complex strategies
- Track record of successfully managing multiple large-scale projects
- Commercially and financially astute
- Experienced with Agile software development methodologies
- Travel industry or large enterprise software industry background a bonus
