As senior accountant, you will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will handle a variety of tasks. Most notably, this will include driving the month-end close process.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Prepare and post complex journal entries for assigned accounts
- Create adjusting journal entries with supporting documentation
- Review journal entries prepared by staff
- Drive the monthly preparation of financial statements and management reporting package
- Perform variance analysis; research and resolve discrepancies
- Assist in the annual budgeting process
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years experience working with the General Ledger
- Strong skills with Excel and ability to learn new software systems quickly
