My client is searching for a Data Scientist with a strong passion for converging complex, high-volume data into actionable insights for our clients. Additionally, this position will have the opportunity to present findings and share insights with multiple clients of several industries including Financial Services, Telecommunications, Public Sector, Health and Life Sciences and Energy.
Key Responsibilities - Help to drive the analytical scope and method for projects, including formulating and shaping the models
- Use Maths, Stats and Machine learning to derive key insights across various industry sectors
- Work closely with clients to diagnose business problems and develop customized solutions via an agile methodology
- Write highly optimized code to advance our internal Data Science toolbox
- Develop world-class data science products for clients as well as for our data science team
- Work in a multi-disciplinary environment mixing highly skilled people in management consulting
Experience required - Strong background in statistical concepts including regression analysis, factor analysis, clustering, decision trees
- Experience with various data types (e.g. Relational, unstructured, Hierarchical, etc)
- Experience in statistical modelling, predictive modelling and machine learning
- Experience in applying data science methods to business problems
- Programming experience in at least 2 of the following languages: R, Python, SQL
