The program coordinator is responsible for providing academic leadership and oversight of the foundation studies program.
Provide academic leadership in discipline-specific knowledge skills & attributes and the pedagogy, development and alignment of the course learning outcomes, learning activities and assessment of the programs.
Assist to effectively manage the delivery of teaching and learning and ensures the programs are coherent in design, planning, management, delivery and assessment.
The role also includes teaching, provision of student academic advice and staff management.
Support students to experience university life while studying in a supportive, specialised environment.
The Successful Applicant
Tertiary qualifications at a Masters level and extensive teaching experience of at least 5+ years in the relevant discipline area
Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in the delivery of high quality teaching and curriculum development at the tertiary education level
Ability to engage students in learning activities, contributing to the development of scholarly and innovative approaches to teaching and learning
High level of written and oral communication skills
The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with academic and administrative staff and students
Computer literacy relevant to the role, including competency with the MS Office suite
