Job Description Mediclinic Middle East are looking for Operating Theater Nurse for Mediclinic Hospital in Al Ain, UAE.
Mediclinic Al Ain Hospital is conveniently located in the heart of Al Ain City. It has 75 Operational Beds and 4 Surgical Theaters. The hospital offers a wide range of medical and surgical inpatient and outpatient services including round the clock emergency services. It is equipped with state of the art laboratory, radiology, a nuclear medicine department, a physiotherapy unit and houses over 20 clinics covering all specialties.
The Operating Theatre Registered Nurse provides direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles within the Operating Theatre and Post Anaesthesia Care Unit (Recovery).
Arabic speaking candidates will be highly regarded
Requirements •Candidates with 3-5 years experience in Operating Theater will be given preference.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minimum of 4 years duration from a recognized Nursing Institute
- Post graduate nursing study in Operating Theater is a plus
- Well versed in Orthopedic, General Laparoscopic Surgeries and Obstetrics & Gynecologic surgeries
- Assisted with ENT, Ophthalmology surgeries
- Proof of valid registration as a Registered Nurse from home country
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Healthcare accreditation experience will be noted
- Fluency in English and knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
- Computer and application knowledge at an intermediate level
- Strong service culture orientation. At ease functioning in a multicultural environment

Having a sterile environment will promote health for nurses and affect the health of patients positively. Educating a client is one of the most important aspects to nursing. Clients should know about their treatment, illness, and anything regarding their health. As a perioperative nurse, it is vital that patients are educated about their health before and after surgery.
