Qualifications : In this role you will assist the Director of Style in the overall operation of the Style Department. Ensuring all areas of the hotel are inspection ready at all times.
The Assistant Director of Style will ensure the department meets all brand standards and adherence to all hotel policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.
Key responsibilities Supervise and control all Style operations. Assist assign and supervise the Style Executives, Assistant Style Executives, and Talent Coaches in their work and assist if required
Responsible for the Style Department in the absence of the Director of Style.
Train, motivate and evaluate talent
Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel, check all areas regularly.
Ensure all work is done according to the department's procedure and ensure the hotel's regulations are being followed.
Inspect WHO rooms.
Handle any guest complaints and reports them to the Director of Style.
Ensure all reporting and servicing deadlines are met on a timely basis.
Closely monitor the condition of all areas of hotel. Weekly/Monthly/Bi-Monthly/Quarterly/Semi Annually/Annually preventative maintenance schedule of all area is accurately executed.
Knowledgeable of all cleaning machines and chemicals used in the Style Department.
Knowledgeable of innovative cleaning methods.
Knowledgeable of annual budgeting including monthly expenses, inventory control, manning.
Innovative ways of enhancing guest experience
Familiar with annual Marriott Audits.
Education: · Hotel Management degree preferred
Experience: · 3-5 years housekeeping experience all within in a management position. Ideally within a 5* hotel.
