The Project Coordinator will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards. This is a standalone role that reports to the CFO.
The main responsibilities are: - Planning, defining, sequencing, developing and controlling schedule activities.
- Development of the baseline schedule as well as identifying critical path(s).
- Analyzing "look ahead" schedules for potential problems or delays.
- Ensuring project planning and scheduling deliverables are accurate and delivered to the Project Manager in a timely fashion.
- Familiar with the implementation of Primavera P6 and the ability to set up the system from inception and determine which information is required from the relevant stakeholders in order to populate system.
- Coordinate and input key data relating to the end-to-end management of Company projects.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives.
- Breakdown projects into manageable actions and set timeframes which are communicated to stakeholders. with different disciplines, i.e. across Design/Construction/Education/HR/Finance.
- Assign tasks and assist with schedule management whilst supporting the Finance team with the preparation and maintenance of budgets, as required.
Requirements: - A minimum of 5 years GCC experience
- Substantial experience, to at least sub-agent level, across a wide range of civil engineering projects, with a good understanding of commercial and contractual matters.
- A clear ability for logical thinking and working in an ordered fashion.
- Thorough experience and understanding of programming techniques.
- A demonstrable ability to produce short and medium-term programmes.
- The ability to communicate effectively.
- Competency in the use of Primavera 6, and in the use of Microsoft Office and 4D software.
- The ability to work to defined, often challenging, timescales.
- Knowledge on all matters relating to safety and environmental construction procedure.
