Our client are establishing a centre of excellence for Antibody-drug conjugates in the UAE. This research centre linked to the University and government will bring together the leading minds in the ADC and Oncology space, with the best possible facilities to advance the research into using ADC for therapeutic uses.
To build the skilled immuno-oncology team they are seeking several key positions of which this is one.
Description We have an opportunity for a protein biochemist to participate in advancing our antibody drug conjugate technology in the Protein Sciences Department. We seek an individual who will enjoy working at the bench in a collaborative fashion alongside scientists with a variety of backgrounds and specialities. This position will allow an entry-level research associate to contribute to new antibody-drug conjugate-based research programs
Profile B.S. or M.S. degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field with 3+ years of laboratory experience in an industrial or academic settingExperience in protein chemistry, bioconjugation, and/or analytical biochemistry is preferredThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and a good understanding of protein purification and characterizationExperience working with and safe handling of cytotoxic compounds would be helpfulAbility to write and edit macros in Microsoft Excel would be beneficialGood communication and organizational skills and the ability to interface constructively with other scientistsDesire to learn new techniques and be at the cutting edge of bioconjugation technologies
