We have an exciting Senior Category Merchandiser role (Beauty sector) for a well known Retail Company, based in Dubai. The candidate will be reporting to Category Manager and will assist to overlook all make up brands performance and identify key category insights to drive the category's growth.
Main responsibilities: - Plan and manage product lifecycle, maintain stocks, manage displays and prepare sales under Category manager supervision
- Prepare sales forecast on SKU level by store / country in alignment with brand budget
- Analyse every aspect of the brand performance and ensure that they reach their full potential
- Provide regular and timely updates on the digital activations and opportunities that occur on a monthly and repeated basis
- Prepare monthly category and brand performance KPI's defined by management and shares findings
- Ensure correct budget tracking and timely re-invoicing to brands
Candidate specifications:
- Candidate must have at least 3-4 years at similar role
- Must have experience in Retail (Fashion, Beauty, FMCG, E-commerce) in a very dynamic environment
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership
- Good level in French would be a plus
