The Accounting Officer is the responsible for ensuring that OliOli operates in a seamless and efficient manner from a financial standpoint.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Accounting
- Reconciliation of daily sales with bank statement and ensuring that sales are properly recorded and registered
- Issue POs, receive and compare quotations, process invoices, and maintain good relationships with various suppliers
- Payroll processing and managing an account for all employees
- Manage petty cash balance effectively and accurately
- Draft fixed assets policy, which will categorize assets into different buckets
- Monthly closing: prepare bank reconciliation, suppliers reconciliation, posting accrual entries for utility expenses, salary disbursement, adjustment for staff advances, update prepayment schedules, update fixed asset register and charge
monthly depreciation
- Prepare monthly management accounts (P&L and Balance Sheet)
Management Reporting
- Daily, weekly and monthly reports to be prepared in formats agreed upon with the management team
- Metrics to be captured include (among others): visitors (including breakdown), revenues (admissions versus café versus other), demographic information of visitors, detailed cost analysis, etc.)
Other Responsibilities - Oversee closing cash registers in an orderly fashion and reconciling sales/cash/receipts
- Managing all aspects of the HR administrative processes with the PRO firm
- Working with other colleagues, proactively contribute to the success of any special events and programs designed to enhance the profile of OliOli within the community
- Perform other duties and be involved in projects and activities that contribute to the achievement of OliOli's objectives

EDUCATION - College degree is required. Candidates with Audit experience are preferred
- Knowledge of Tally ERP and ability to adapt other account softwares
- Strong command and experience with Microsoft Excel
