The Company My client, a global name in the world of luxury fashion, are looking to bring in a Financial Controller to join the regional finance team based here in Dubai.
The Role - Supervising the accounting - including general ledger review and delivering statutory financial statements
- Supporting the management accounting
- Operating expenses planning and budgeting and working with various department Heads
- Acting as a finance business partner to look at cost control and analysis
- Monthly financial closing and reporting
- Ensuring timely completion of Group Management Reporting
- Preparing, analyzing and sharing the monthly reports
- Maintaining regular contact with the stores - conducting finance training with store managers and ensuring internal control
The Person - 3 years + experience as a financial controller/analyst
- Experience within a multinational environment
- Audit experience is a plus
- Strong background in finance controlling
- You are results orientated and able to multi task to meet challenging deadlines
- Excellent time management and organisation
- Strong analytical capability and have keen eye for details
- An experienced IT user and previous experience with a larger ERP system such as SAP is an advantage)
- Fluent in English - Arabic or Italian or French will be considered a plus
- Retail experience is preferred but is not essential
Benefits Salary AED 22,000 - 26,000
