Brief Description: The platform owner Trading WM is the owner of the Advent and TradeNet platform and is responsible for leading the end to end delivery of changes to the platform from quality costing and timeline perspective aligned to the strategy of the business
Detailed Description: The platform owner Trading WM is the owner of the Advent and TradeNet platform and is responsible for leading the end to end delivery of changes to the platform from quality costing and timeline perspective aligned to the strategy of the business
Job Requirements: Participate in discussions with the business to align the business strategy and roadmap with the platform strategy roadmap
periodically engage with the business to provide the roadmap status and discuss the resolution of issues affecting the progress
Perform appropriate level of stakeholder management across IT and clients
Serve as highest project internal escalation level
Oversee the delivery of small and large projects by closely aligning with the project manager manage risk and issues correct deviation from plans
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team in accordance with defined quality management practices to achieve common objectives
Ensure maintaining Data confidentiality
Contribute to the yearly IT Roadmap ensuring that project costings and estimates are as accurate as possible
Leading the product teams in delivering world class platform solutions
Wearing the architect hat to oversee the technical and functional design by closely aligning with senior application architects to ensure that it is done an efficient fashion keeping in view the long term stability and performance of the platform
Ensuring value added proposition in strategic vendor partnerships and aligning vendor product industry roadmap of platforms with the business strategy thus enabling an effective business growth
At a team level playing a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people process and tools and coaching members of the team as needed to optimize the efficiency of the project team
Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments removing roadblocks to their work
leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
Additional Details: Graduate Post graduate in related degree of education
Certification in Financial Markets
Excellent understanding of the wealth management products EquityDerivativesFixed Income
Excellent understanding of Wealth management business processes ie CIO Product and Operations
Experience of handling wealth management and implementation of complex projects
Proven track record of leading medium to big size510 teams
Proven experience and track record of dealing with multiple vendors
Advent system knowledge Very good understanding of advent system architecture and other systems used by wealth such as Moxy
Project management Excellent understanding and experience of project management processes and tools
Passion to focus on strategic vision to continuously improve the platform delivery and performance by introducing new processes and tools
Focus on quality of the deliverables to ensure long term stability of the system
Communication skills Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
