Position Summary: Position is responsible for mastering all phases of the analysis on administration and processing of all lease data, including verification and analysis. Assume full responsibilities for projects assigned. Lease data is used by all areas of the Company thus it is extremely important that the data be accurate and updated timely. Gain a working knowledge of how JDE lease set-up impacts Financial Reporting. Comply with corporate and departmental policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include the following:

- Ensure you are communicating to your Supervisor your career growth plan.
- Review and analyze lease language to determine if data elements are entered correctly in the corporate accounting system as issues arise on data integrity reports.
- Participate in the tenant sales audits process to ensure completion from beginning to end.
- Ensure compliance with departmental and corporate policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Manages the collection of certified and monthly reported sales for assigned properties which includes: entering sales, reviewing lease setup for sales, validating sales variances on tenants, and entering estimates for new leases.
- Ensure completion of all tracking schedules, including complete review to ensure that all data points are completed timely.
- Ensure all of the data request que's are completed timely.
- Identify and escalate problematic lease language that is financially detrimental or difficult to efficiently administer. Prepare analysis of financial impact.
- Develop and Maintain Processes:
- Development of new procedures and enhancement of existing procedures. Recommend enhancements to improve efficiencies and maximize the utilization of departmental resources.
- Roll-out of processes developed to Lease Accounting and other groups in the organization.
- Prepare and maintain work status schedules and 'To Do' lists to facilitate effective management of the department. This schedule should be maintained and updated weekly and reviewed with your Manager for prioritization.
- Participate in the performance on due diligence activities for potential acquisitions. This includes the analyzation of Lease Language and Billings and verification to Due Diligence materials
- Participate in the JDE set up of acquired properties. Includes development of input scripts and validation plans and execution of steps on these plans.
- Assist in corporate systems improvement initiatives by serving as a team member and/or performing required testing. Analyze information as required by project charter.
- Other duties and specific projects as assigned.
Requirements Qualifications include the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3 years of commercial real estate experience in corporate or lease accounting
- Understanding of basic Accounting and Business principles
- Proficient in Excel
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
- Ability to train employees
- Ability to adhere to procedures
