Strategic Marketing Manager (SMM) leads to define IT Division marketing strategy in respective zones which aligns with business priorities to support growth ambition. Working with direct and/or indirect team Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for developing the marketing and communications strategy in a manner that supports consistent business growth and enhances brand equity and awareness of Schneider Electric in market place. They will drive thought leadership leveraging global practices as well as creating and execute tactical local marketing plan with help of field marketing team. SMM will be accountable to generate pull marketing revenue contribution and measured on other IT channel leading indicators.
- Define the ITB country Go To Market marketing Strategy aligning strategic priorities with Market opportunity and country readiness using the process of integrated Figure of Merit.
- Facilitate the process of annual planning at country level and ensuring validation of all market data inputs (AMR).
- Marketing strategy includes – demand generation and Channel marketing for all Business unit offers and into all GTM.
Deliver a Country/Regional marketing strategy to support the AMSP and approve on a quarterly basis the Integrated Marketing plan in alignment with growth initiatives, iFigure of Merit, country needs and developments with IT Division campaigns and Programs. * Work with Marketing Intelligence to understand competitive landscape and trends to align Country Strategic Plan.
- Define and deploy annual and quarterly channel and segment marketing plans- Work with in Country business leadership and across Global Marketing and Local Marcomm functional teams (mass media, direct marketing, PR, web, programs) to define and approve the overall quarterly marketing plans.
- Make recommendations and course corrections needed from the Business' perspective across entire marketing value chain. Monitor ITD Marketing Dashboard.
- Marcom - To develop, manage and execute the integrated communication plan based on Global Marketing guidelines incl. Figure of Merit (FOM) and country/zone objectives - ensuring that Global Marketing principles and processes are followed in the country/zone. Design and execute marcom plans and programs against measurable goals using the most effective mix of channels and media for the target audience. Design and execute MarCom events and ensure those responsible for customer retention, direct marketing and advertising is executed against measurable goals using the most effective mix of channels and media for the target audience.
- Budget & Spending Control of Opex & Contra Revenue vs iFOM guidance. Own total Marketing promotional budget for assigned region.
- Ensure deployment of Offer Introduction Process in collaboration with the LOB.
Deliver and update on a quarterly or bi-annual basis integrated investment guidance for Marketing budget, Sales Opex budget, joint Marketing development fund investment and provide priorities based on latest offer roadmap, ITB campaigns and programs.
Define transverse activities with marcom leadership.
Assist with the "account-specific" and "one to many" marketing plans for the ITD partner channels & Alliances (sell thru and influencers). Primary responsibilities including selection of the appropriate campaigns and activities by market segment to achieve greater channel width via acquisition and depth via retention activities in channels.
Account-specific responsibilities will include managing the spending budget and reporting ROI. Work with Channel Sales & Channel Marketing to increase partner recruitment (PRM).
Engage with Global Strategic Marketing team to ensure campaign development appropriateness for Region/Country/Segment during campaign brief definition and asset requirement
Leads qualification and ROI delivery to the business - Ensures proper qualification of the responses and raw leads generated through CRT team and prepares Marcom ROI docs to be reviewed with the business every qtr.
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing (preferred) or Communication or arts * 10-15 years experience in Marketing and/or Marketing Communications with minimum 5 years as a Marketing functional leader
