JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities
» Responsible for a portfolio of clients and for maintaining good client relationships
» Support Accounting Manager/Director to deliver high accounting standards to clients
» Responsible for deadlines/job costing, and portfolio billing and collections
» Provide technical updates to the accounting team
» Work closely with senior management to grow the business
» supervise all types of accounting assignments, including preparation of consolidated and associate accounts, local and international group structures, and audit; able to review XBRL conversion work
» Reviewing tax and audit files and corresponding with IRAS, advising Corporate Secretarial team on financial and tax matters
» Meeting and liaising with clients, bankers, significant authorities and audit partners about accounting/audit queries Requirements
The candidate We are seeking for has the following attributes and practice:
» Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, ACCA or CA Singapore
» Minimum 5 years ‘hands on’ technical practice in a Singapore accounting/CPA firm
» Strong technical application of SFRS
» Strong expertise in Excel and various accounting software
» Hands on practice in individual and corporate tax work, including international trade transactions and withholding tax
» Systematic, resourceful, analytical, thorough, accountable and ethical
» Good English, to effectively communicate with IRAS, audit partners, clients, and colleagues
» Happy working in a small company environment, willing to share expertise and make a difference
» Committed to keeping oneself up-to-date on significant accounting, tax and audit matters Remuneration
