JOB DESCRIPTION Job Description » Handle full spectrum of accounting functions such as preparing monthly/annual financial reports, audit schedules, budget planning, forecasting and taxation
» Manage organizational cash flow budget and forecasting to meet operation needs
» Participate in finance related projects and implement system enhancements related to Accounts function
» Perform monthly financial closing activities and ensure accuracy of financial statements
» contact with auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, banks, government authorities on financial and controls matters when required
» Strict adherence to the Company’s policy and all tax accounting, legislative and regulatory requirements
» Prepare and verify ECI and tax computations prepared by tax consultant and ensure timely and accurate yearly statutory tax filing
» Review and analyse company and subsidiaries’ financial performance
» Assist in financial and audit reviews to ensure internal controls and policies are in line with corporate governance guidelines
» Prepare GST reports for submission to tax authority
» Enhance work processes and internal audit protocols
» Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned Job Requirements
» Minimum Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
» Minimum 5 years of working practice in the related field, preferably practiced in retail, F&B or FMCG companies
» Prior practice in Sage Accpac or Navision ERP system will be advantageous
» Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
» Meticulous, analytical, well organized and numerate
» Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
» Possess leadership abilities qualities and good interpersonal expertise
