Job description: JOB DESCRIPTION This multinational holds a reliable market share in it's industry and is poised for continual expansion in the Supply Chain Management, Commercial, and Operations teams. Today, we have a position as a Senior HR Manager to lead the HR function across APAC.
This position supports the APAC VPHR and APAC President in developing and implementing APAC initiatives, towards the organisations'mid and long term strategies. The key HR transformation initiatives include:
Recruitment and Manpower Planning
» Ensure timely recruitment and selection
» Guide the management team in developing talent acquisition and development plans to ensure that employees can grow and demonstrate mastery of required competencies in their jobs and deliver desired performance levels
Compensation & Benefit Management
» Analyse, design & implement compensation & benefit programs to ensure the total compensate system remains competitive within the industry in the region
» Manage compensation & benefits survey, job benchmarking exercise, and industry trends analysis as required
» Review and design income structure that addresses the evolving needs of the business
» Develop compensates and recognition schemes
» Streamline regional processes, and manage regional consolidation and analysis of data
Talent & Performance Management
» Co-ordinate the bi-yearly performance review & annual calibration exercise,
» Guide people leaders on performance management, coaching, performance & development improvement processes, and
» Recommend & implement talent attraction, retention & engagement programs.
Employee Relations
» Foster a culture of employee engagement to reinforce the organization's business strategies and culture for continuous growth and improvement
» Detect and handle complaints, disputes and grievances of all staff levels, conduct exit and grievance interviews when needed and be the focal point for all local labour dispute cases
HR Effectiveness & Efficiency
» Actively participate in process improvement initiatives
» Implement various local, regional and global HR projects as required
To be prosperous in the function, you will possess strong consulting skills in business planning and change management. In this fast-paced environment, you must have the capability to work independently, and have strong analytical skills. The minimum requirements include:
» Degree in any discipline. A postgraduate diploma in HRM will be an added advantage
» 10-15 years of HR practice in progressive multinational corporation
» Past working practice in an industrial multinational is an added advantage, particularly in organisations with large-scale blue collared workers
» Proven track record of effective influence and interactions at all levels of an organization
