The Role JLL Capital Markets Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to analyse public real estate companies across the Asia Pacific region, to identify potential business opportunities for JLL. Responsibilities will include the regular screening of publicly listed real estate companies, valuation and due diligence on targeted companies using public information, identification of interesting opportunities, financial modelling, and assisting in the preparation of pitches and presentations. The position provides an excellent opportunity for the candidate to work to cover all Asia Pacific regions, and to work with the various Capital Markets groups, and focus on business development for the firm. The Senior Analyst will sit in the Asia Pacific Capital Markets regional team, part of the analyst pool, based in Singapore and will work very closely with the Global Funds Advisory Team.
Qualifications Strategic thinker with a strong finance background that is able to take initiative and work well in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment
Completed an undergraduate degree with a strong emphasis on math, finance or accounting and an excellent academic background
2 to 4 years relevant experience, preferably in a financial advisory, equity research or investment / lending role in the real estate industry, with a high level of attention to detail
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills are essential, including an advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and writing /presentation skills
Outstanding interpersonal and client service skills
Candidates will be evaluated on their business acumen and ability to creatively problem-solve, in addition to their approach to company analysis
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designations are an asset
