Finance Executive

The Finance Executive is responsible to ensure full business/reporting compliance and to ensure monthly reporting is accurate and timely to the customer & global headquarter; to develop and enhance financial reporting to support the business and to manage budgeting and forecasting processes as well as development of internal control policies and procedures; to manage the production costing and integrating real cash production generation and performance measures. He/she will support and report to the Finance Manager, Controlling.
Your Responsibilities - Job functions covers all registered entities within the manufacturing group in Singapore
- Prepare financial reports during the monthly close process; generate monthly dashboards, balance scorecard and cost center reports for all departments for budget & performance monitoring purposes with analysis and commentaries
- Execute data entry, coding for all intercompany material invoices (AP) for relevant registered entities using the SAP system
- Assist in identifying, analysis and evaluating areas of improvement of profit with particular to cost evaluation and production variances using Real Cash methodology
- Generate monthly variance report on actual expenditure versus planned expenditure and perform cost analysis when necessary
- Assist & execute the annually production costing; assist in the evaluation of the cost control and performance measures
- Ensure the correctness of the material master and all related pricing parameter for the incoming materials; maintain overall overview as well as review the pricing and resolve any discrepancies
- Provide support on half yearly forecasts, budgeting, short- & long term business forecasts and cost allocation
- Ensure invoice transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist in successful completion of audit requirements (GST and statutory) with external auditors
- Provide support to gather documents for external audit purposes prior to submission to EDB to ensure successful claims of approved grants from EDB
- Assist in preparatory works for annual stock take
- Other duties as directed
Your Profile - Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or Accountancy, alternatively an equivalent qualification
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles and procedures
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in finance and/or production controlling experience
- Experience in writing skills to translate complex financial data into simplified dashboards and MIS reports would be advantageous
- Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel
- Preferably technology savvy in SAP, especially SAP FICO module, as well as power point presentation
- Meticulous, diligent and an excellent team player
