The APAC Talent team is expanding and we are looking for an APAC Payroll Analyst to support our growth in the region.
Responsibilities: - Prepare Template for each APAC Country using reports from Workday as well as coordinating with the Talent Team.
- Send all prepared & approved templates to CloudPay.
- Review, submit and close out all payroll related warnings from the integration from Workday to CloudPay.
- Check all returned files from CloudPay, ensuring the payroll summary is balanced and the journal is balanced.
- Create PTO Journals, Bonus Accrual & Sabbatical accrual.
- Partner closely with APAC Finance team and Talent team on monthly payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Research and resolve all payroll related discrepancies.
- Maintain all payroll records appropriately.
- Provide formal and ad-hoc analysis of payroll, benefits, and headcount.
- Support the Payroll Manager with the preparation of monthly payroll journals and accruals, flux analysis and commentary, reconciliation of payroll accounts.
- Provide support for year-end statutory compliance and internal and external audit requests related to payroll and equity.
- Partner closely with the finance/treasury team to ensure any ad hoc payments related to payroll or funding to payroll partners are completed timely and accurately.
- POC for all APAC payroll queries from both employees and external vendors.
- Assist in managing all external payroll partners in APAC.
- Continuously identify and develop solutions for process efficiency and improved productivity.
- Support Payroll manager when required on projects.
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Accounting knowledge or experience a big plus
- Minimum of 4+ years payroll experience
- In depth knowledge of local payroll tax rules
- Highly analytical with working knowledge of general payroll protocols and accounting principles
- Strong analytical skills with ability to research pay or tax issues
- Experience with Workday or CloudPay an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - able to work effectively with employees and Payroll partners
- Proven team player who thrives on working hard with like-minded colleagues in a very collaborative environment
- Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion
- Curious individual with a strong willingness to learn
