Associate, Payroll (PERM ROLE) for Renowned Financial Institution Associate, Payroll (PERM ROLE) for Renowned Financial Institution -Minimum 4 years of experience in local cum APAC /international payrolls -Exposure to Singapore payroll is a must -Experience working in bigger MNC/conglomerate required Our client is a stable and renowned FI. You will be part of a payroll shared service centre supporting its local and global operations. Responsibilities Be part of the payroll team that is responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing of 800+ employees in Singapore and International offices Work with in-country vendors to ensure monthly payrolls are accurately completed per payroll schedules for employees Verify payroll information for appropriate approvals and accuracy for payment Ensure compliance to local tax laws and country specific Labor laws Work with team members on the reconciliation of the general ledger for all payroll-related entries Coordinate and prepare documentation and reconciliations for internal and external auditors Work closely with Finance and Corporate Tax to ensure compliance with accounting policy and corporate tax Provide customer service and respond in a timely manner to employees on payroll related issues and inquiries Assist on special projects and assignments as necessary Streamline and standardized processes and reports across all countries for great efficiency as well as for global reporting/data analytics Automate payroll instructions via interface feeds to reduce manual excel template collation Roll out new initiatives in partnership with HRIS Team. Qualifications & Interpersonal Skills Degree in Finance, Accounting or HR equivalent Minimum 4 years of experience in local and APAC/international payrolls Ability to exercise independent judgment and knowledge of payroll policies and procedures Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, accurately and meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive personnel issues and ability to maintain strict confidentiality Good organisational skills and attention to details Proficiency in MS Office applications - especially Microsoft Excel Highly motivated individual and fast learner who can thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Excellent time management and decision-making skills.
