Job Description: Responsible for assessing the credit risk and viability of a potential and existing client as well as establishing their current
credit limit. Analyzes customer financial statements pertaining to a credit line application and provide financial guidance
for order management support with supply chains and marketing units to control credit use while minimizing dispute
and upholding effective payment. Key Responsibilities:
1 Ensure credit policies are well understood by the country credit team and Sales teams. Feedback any improvements needed to the regional manager
2 Prepare analysis and creditworthiness assessment of CL requests and draft recommendation for regional credit manager
3 Manage new risky business structures that may contain credit exposure
4 Continuously improve credit processes across countries and train local teams
5 Maintain register of relevant insurance covers for regional credit manager review
6 Intensive follow up of actions agreed with credit managers by the countries team
7 Ensure MEAP credit reporting on the regular basis
8 Ensure Credit KPI’s are met
9 Travel Requirement – 30% of time
Requirements: Work Experience: Accounting, Business Administration/Management
Education: Bachelor: Finance (Required)
Skills: Ability to present analyses in a clear reports and ability to articulate in a powerful manner, Familiarity with Navision and Hyperion is preferred, Proficient computer knowledge and keyboard skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for Windows and other Computer Skills as required., Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills (influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution)
