As an Accounting Specialist in Singapore, you can help make possibilities happen.
Summary: Perform Account Payable functions for Countries in Asia Pacific to ensure the coding were correctly coded to the expense code and/ or GST/ VAT/ consumption tax/ withholding tax for analysis and tax compliance purposes, and the liabilities/ payments are made within the deadlines.
Responsibilities: - Enter Vendors/ inter-companies’ invoices with the correct Accounting Codes into System
- Ensure invoices are approved according to the Payment and Disbursement Policies
- Initiate payment for all the approved invoices & Expense claims within the deadlines
- Perform month end/ Quarter end and Year End Account Payable Closing Process
- Provide Support to SOX and Statutory Audit Queries
- Update cash report
- Assist in UAT Testing
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.
Qualifications Requirements: - Minimum a Diploma in related studies
- Basic Accounting Knowledge
- Experience with Oracle Accounting System is a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Team Player
